Alkagesta has reported completing its first truck-to-vessel marine fuel delivery in Constanța, Romania, with two trucks supplying a combined 50.164 metric tonnes of marine gasoil on 2 October 2026. The company presented the operation as an expansion of its distribution capabilities in Romania and the Black Sea region, adding a new delivery method to its activities in the Romanian market.

In its account of the delivery, Alkagesta said Romania had become increasingly important to its regional petroleum products and biofuels business during 2026. The Constanța supply adds truck-to-vessel delivery to that business. The announcement placed the operation within a wider account of the company’s European energy trading activities, covering aviation fuel, crude oil and sustainable fuels as well as marine products.

Earlier in 2026, Alkagesta said it obtained access to the NATO Central Europe Pipeline System and began supplying Jet A1 to the European aviation market. According to the company, those deliveries started amid acute supply pressures in aviation fuel, while greater military use of the pipeline complicated civilian fuel distribution. Alkagesta also reported its first crude oil transactions during the period, including an end-to-end delivery of about 1.07 million barrels to the Far East.

The company’s sustainable fuels activities included a multi-year agreement for biofuel storage at Pantank in Antwerp and a five-year offtake agreement for used cooking oil feedstock. Alkagesta described those arrangements as strengthening its participation in the European biofuels supply chain. The storage and feedstock agreements formed another part of the commercial developments outlined alongside the Romanian delivery.

In Asia, Alkagesta said its Singapore hub achieved monthly marine fuel trading volumes of approximately 250,000 metric tonnes during its first full year of operation. The company also pointed to its fertiliser desk’s activities in a market affected by substantial supply-chain disruption and food security pressures across global agriculture.
